I had decided on Urbana/Champaign because I think the in-state tuition was going to save me a bit, but then my genius guidance counselor (it was his first year on the job) forgot to send my application and didn't tell me until 2 weeks after the deadline. I had actually submitted it for early application in October, and we missed the spring deadline! lol He said the reason was that I never turned in the transcript release, but I explicitly remember having to have my father sign it since I was 17 at the time. I ended up going to a small private university in Chicago and loved it, so it worked out ok. But thanks for your input, I'll absolutely be taking it into consideration.

And will you accuse me of being Daedalus who makes them move, though you are yourself much more skillful than Daedalus and make them go around in a circle? Or do you not realize that our argument has moved around and come again to the same place? [...] Or do you not remember?" - Socrates |
